The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards and commemorated the organization’s 50th anniversary at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Saturday Night Live’s head writer and anchor Seth Meyers was the host for the evening. FD’s favorite jewelry designer, Monique Pean, was selected as one of the CFDA/Vogue Fund Winners. Pean, a former investment banker at Goldman Sachs, launched her eco-friendly sustainable fine jewelry line in 2006 inspired by indigenous cultures from around the globe. Pean’s jewelry has been worn by many celebrities, but most importantly, the First Lady. Read More to see Lady O wearing Monique Pean’s jewelry.
